SCHOOL WORKSHOPS
Sam hosts performances along with workshops in schools, to entertain, inspire and educate children.
Freestyle football workshops often take a similar form to PE lessons. The children are challenged with activities and games that are age-appropriate.
FORMAT
Introduction & Freestyle Football Performance
Sam delivers a world-class freestyle football display accompanied with music (3-5 minutes long).
This could either take place at a main assembly in front of the whole school, or at the beginning of each workshop with a class.
Coaching Class
Each class receives ability-based skills tutorials, to learn the basic moves of freestyle football. The children are given a ball each during the workshop to attempt tricks.
We take part in fun challenges and games, such as 1 vs 1.
A workshop with a single class can last between 20 minutes and one hour, but typically sessions last 30 minutes.

With professional football freestylers being relatively uncommon throughout the UK & Ireland, the impressive showcase in person can often have a lasting impression on children.
Sam's aim is to inspire young people to get out and practice with the ball. The improvement associated with learning new skills is extremely beneficial for mental wellbeing, with physical fitness improving as a result of the activity itself.
The skills tutorials are broken down in a way that children of all ages are given tricks that are achievable, and a clear path is created for improvement.
